Visual Mold & Moisture Inspections
A Visual Mold & Moisture Inspection is a comprehensive, non-invasive evaluation of a property to identify visible microbial growth, moisture intrusion sources, and environmental conditions that may support mold development. Our inspections are systematic, objective, and fully documented. We do not approach inspections with a remediation agenda. Our role is to assess, measure, and report findings clearly so property owners can make informed decisions.

Our Process
-
Schedule an Inspection
The process begins with a brief intake discussion. We discuss current concerns such as musty odors, staining, humidity issues, or recent storm or ice dam events. Once scheduled, you receive confirmation along with basic preparation guidance to ensure accurate readings on the day of inspection.
-
On-Site Visual and Moisture Assessment
We utilize professional-grade moisture meters to measure material moisture content and identify elevated readings within drywall, wood framing, and other porous materials. A thermal imaging camera is used to detect temperature differentials that may indicate hidden moisture anomalies.
We assess visible surfaces for staining, microbial growth patterns, deterioration, and building envelope defects.
-
Documentation and Reporting
Following the inspection, you receive a written report detailing our findings. The report includes a summary of observed conditions, moisture readings, relevant thermal imaging observations when applicable, and photo documentation of areas of concern. Recommendations are clearly outlined so next steps are practical and specific.
-
Post-Inspection Support
After the report is delivered, we remain available to review findings and answer questions. If contractors require clarification regarding documented areas, we can assist. If remediation is completed, we also offer post-remediation verification and clearance testing when appropriate.
